A day earlier, on August 18, 2025, IRCC conducted a draw specifically for candidates with a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) nomination. In this round, 192 candidates were invited to apply for permanent residency. Due to the 600 points awarded for a provincial nomination, the CRS cut-off was set high at 800. This draw reinforces the strong role provinces continue to play in selecting skilled newcomers
