Quebec’s temporarily reactivated Programme de l’expérience québécoise (PEQ) is running its first intake from July 2 to October 31, 2026, as part of a two-year revival running to July 2, 2028. The first intake is reserved for people who already met PEQ reception criteria as of November 19, 2025 – graduates with a qualifying Quebec diploma and temporary foreign workers with at least two years of Quebec work experience in eligible occupation categories. There is no cap on the number of applications in this intake, and all applications are submitted through the Arrima portal. The PEQ offers a fast track to a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ), followed by a federal permanent residence application. No dates have been announced for the next intake period.
