British Columbia held a new draw under its Temporary Rural/Remote Health Support Initiative on October 15, 2026.

The numbers:

– Invitations to apply: 16
– Minimum score: 54 (down from 60 in September)
– Stream: health-authority workers in rural and remote BC communities

This is the same initiative that closed registrations in early October — draws are now underway, and the cut-off is moving in candidates’ favour. A six-point drop in one month is a meaningful signal for health-authority staff in rural BC.

If you work for a BC public health authority in a rural or remote community, keep your registration current — further draws are expected. Contact ImmiQuest to check your eligibility.
