This is the final weekend of the 2026 International Experience Canada (IEC) season. If you want to work in Canada under IEC this year, your profile must be submitted before Monday, October 19 at 9:00 AM Eastern Time.
Key dates:
– Profile deadline: Monday, October 19, 9:00 AM ET
– Final invitation round: the week of October 19
– Categories: Working Holiday, Young Professionals, and International Co-op — across 36 partner countries
Miss Monday morning’s deadline and the pools close until the 2027 season opens.
What this means for candidates: if you are eligible and your profile is not yet in the pool, submit it this weekend. IEC is one of the fastest routes for young people to get Canadian work experience — experience that later strengthens Express Entry and PNP applications.
