Prince Edward Island held a new Provincial Nominee Program draw on October 16, 2026, inviting 163 candidates through its Labour Impact and Express Entry streams.

No invitations went to business candidates in this round. With this draw, PEI has now invited 1,482 candidates through its PNP in 2026.

Notably, PEI’s anticipated schedule had pointed to October 15, but the province drew a day later on October 16 — one of its larger rounds of the year.

What this means for candidates: PEI continues to favour workers with ties to the island — a valid job offer from a PEI employer, previous work or study in the province, or an Express Entry profile aligned with PEI’s labour needs all strengthen a case. If you have an Expression of Interest in the PEI pool, keep it current: draws reward up-to-date profiles.
