Global Talent Stream
The Global Talent Stream is a part of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program and is designed especially for innovative Canadian employers who want to recruit skilled foreign nationals for various roles and develop their business further and for the Tech employers who need to fill an in-demand highly-skilled position on the Global Talent Occupations List.
Registered employers under this program can expedite the recruitment process by utilizing the Global Skill Strategy. GTS is basically one of the various streams that the Temporary Foreign Worker Program or TFWP offers.
Global Talent Stream Categories
Category A:-
To hire foreign talents under category A of the global talent stream, the employer must be referred to the stream by one of the designated partner agencies of GTS. Furthermore, they can also utilize the Global Talent Stream to hire international talents.
For a foreign national, to be eligible under Category A, they must have advanced knowledge in their domain along with at least 5 years of experience in the respective industry.
Category B:-
For hiring under category B, the employer must be looking to hire highly-skilled foreign workers to fulfil various vacancies found in the Global Talent Stream. The recruits must also meet eligibility as well as minimum wage requirements.
The recruits under category B must be dedicated to improving skills and indulging in training to gather more skills.

NOC 0213, 2147, Sub-set of 2161 [Mathematicians and statisticians (Positions for actuaries or related occupations are excluded from this subset)], 2171, 2172, 2173, 2174, 2175, 2281, Sub-set of 5131 (Producer, technical, creative and artistic director and project manager – Visual effects and video game), Sub-set of 5241 (Digital media designers)
Processing Fee

To apply under any category of Global Talent Stream, the employers must pay an application fee of $1000.
Business Legitimacy

The employer must have all the supporting documents to prove the legitimacy of their business.
Labour Market Benefits Plan
More Info
Employers must get a copy of positive LMIA from ESDC to hire a foreign worker under this stream and to get that Employer must need to develop and submit a Labour Market Benefits Plan demonstrating that their business activities will have a lasting, positive impact on the Canadian labor market.
